The day is cleared when every stone has hit the ground — not when the letters run out. Stones pay 30, diamonds 45.
A stone only sinks where you clear beneath it, so keep the columns under your stones open. Long words are nice; a stone you can’t reach is the thing to avoid.
It may take a tower or two to get the feel of it.
